Matthew

Matthew was born and raised in Tawau. Whilst pursuing his degree in Business Administration, he worked as a part-time swim teacher where he developed his interest in teaching swimming. After graduating with a business degree, he continued his journey as a full-time swim teacher.

Along the way, Matthew has pursued numerous formal trainings, and acquired various certifications in swimming and lifesaving to ensure that he is well-equipped to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for his students. Throughout his teaching career, he has also gained experience in working with babies, toddlers, and children with disabilities.

His teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive learning environment through positive reinforcement. He also believes in the importance of water safety and a fun learning environment.

Co-founder

Chua

Chua was born and raised in Tawau. After completing his Certificate in Legal Practices, he practiced law in Kuala Lumpur while working as a part-time swim teacher. Throughout the years, he developed an interest in child development and a passion in teaching.

After getting called to the Sabah Bar, Chua continued to practice law while working as a part-time swim teacher in Sabah. Over the years, his teaching experience allowed him to connect with his students, making the learning process not only educational but also enjoyable.

He believes that knowing how to swim is a vital lifelong skill. His utmost priority when it comes to swimming is water safety and confidence. With his passion in the swimming industry, he is keen to develop and promote high quality swimming services to the people of Sabah.
